Veneers only work on teeth that already exist, since they cover the front surface of a natural tooth. If you're missing a tooth entirely, you'll need a dental implant or bridge instead, not a veneer. We'll help you figure out which one actually solves your problem.

Dr. Jerry Cheung is originally from Los Angeles, California where he attended the University of California – Irvine. He received his Bachelor’s & Doctorate degrees from Ohio State University in 1999, and continued to train at The Ohio State University Medical Center in the General Practice Residency Program. His emphases were hospital dentistry, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, oral medicine, and sedation.
To further his education, Dr. Cheung attends many continuing educational classes and is a member of the Central Ohio Study Club, Academy of Contemporary Dentistry, Great Columbus Society of Contemporary Dentistry, and Dr. Han’s Implant Institute. Dr. Cheung recently achieved Diplomate credentials with the IDIA. He feels that the continuing pursuit of knowledge ensures his patients receive the most comprehensive, advanced dental care in the industry.

Preventive dentistry and ensuring that all patients feel comfortable and relaxed are of the utmost importance to Dr. Kim. He is committed to getting to know his patients on a personal level, helping them make smart and informed decisions about their oral health, and talking them through procedures in order to make them feel more at ease.
Dr. Kim obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo and his DDS from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. While in dental school, he confounded the Asian Pacific Student Dental Association. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society.

Dr. Kamran grew up in Dayton, Ohio prior to attending The Ohio State University where she obtained her bachelor’s in both Chemistry and Islamic Studies. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During her last two years of school, she also completed a two-year academic career track area of concentration certificate to expand her communication and teaching skills.
To further her training, Dr. Kamran completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Kamran is passionate about creating a positive dental experience through patient communication and by building a strong rapport with patients.
When Dr. Kamran isn’t thinking about teeth, she enjoys catching up with friends by exploring the growing food scene in Columbus. She can be found in her free time reading on her kindle or working out. Dr. Kamran loves being back in Columbus and is incredibly thankful to be serving the patients at this wonderful practice!

We numb the area and remove a thin layer of enamel from each tooth being treated, to make room for your veneer.
While your custom veneers are being made, you’ll wear temporaries so you’re never without a full smile.
As your family grows and changes, we’re here for every stage — the same team, visit after visit.
Your mouth changes as you adjust, so we schedule follow-ups to fine-tune the fit and address any sore spots.
You leave with your finished dentures, and we make sure you know how to care for them and what to expect as you adjust.

Cost depends on how many teeth you’re treating and the complexity of your case. We use porcelain for all of our veneers, since it holds up best over time. We’ll give you a clear, itemized quote at your consultation, along with financing options through CareCredit and Cherry.
Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so most insurance plans don’t cover them. In some cases where a veneer is needed to repair damage rather than purely for appearance, partial coverage may apply — we’ll help you check your specific benefits.
Pop-on or clip-on veneers are removable cosmetic covers, not a permanent dental treatment, and most aren’t designed for eating with them in place. We don’t currently offer pop-on veneers, but we’re happy to talk through custom porcelain veneers as a permanent, natural-looking alternative.
Veneers cover the front surface of an existing tooth, so they can’t replace a tooth that’s completely missing. If you’re missing one or more teeth, a dental implant or bridge is usually the better fit — we can walk you through which option makes sense for your smile.
Any cavities or underlying issues need to be treated first, so your tooth is healthy before a veneer is placed on top of it. Once that’s addressed, most patients are good candidates.
Veneers can visually improve mild crowding or minor misalignment, but for more significant crookedness, we may recommend Invisalign first to straighten your teeth before placing veneers, so your results last.
Since veneers are elective and involve permanently altering your tooth structure, many dentists, including our team, prefer to wait until after pregnancy for non-urgent cosmetic procedures. We’re happy to do a consultation now and plan your timeline around your due date.
